We are happy to share that our lab member, Rebecca Scharlach, was invited to write a commentary on the paper “The dark side of public values in algorithmic systems,” written by David Moats, Minna Ruckenstein, Dorthe Kristensen, Maria Eidenskog, Elissa Elhadj, Tuukka Lehtiniemi, Perle Møhl, Ajda Pretnar Žagar, Maiju Tanninen, and Julia Velkova.

In her piece, “Finding the value of values,” Rebecca suggests two ways to expand the discussion on value disconnects, making both a conceptual and a methodological intervention.
