Vasilisa Kuznetsova has been a research assistant and doctoral candidate in the “Platform Governance, Media and Technology” lab at the Center for Media, Communication and Information Research (ZeMKI) since May 2023. In 2023, she completed her Master’s degree in Digital Media & Society at the University of Bremen, where she was also a DAAD scholarship holder. In her master’s thesis, she investigated computational propaganda and political bots on Twitter in the context of the war in Ukraine. During her Master’s studies, she worked as a student assistant in the “Platform Governance, Media and Technology” lab of Prof. Dr. Christian Katzenbach. In 2020, she completed a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism at Lomonosov Moscow State University with a stay abroad at the University of Tübingen. From 2016 to 2020, she also worked as a teaching and research assistant at the Faculty of Journalism.
